Position Summary
Reports to the onsite Chief Information Officer. This position specializes in application development and application integration, EDI, development of interfaces from the AS400 to web, Windows and other manufacturing based applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Works closely with Application Group manager or Lead P/A to translate business requirements into quality systems, programs, queries and reports.
Works with users to define requirements, develop program specs, develop test specs, carry out programs & system testing and develops documentation.
D and D systems, programs, reports, queries, etc in an IBM AS/400 environment
Performs a variety of maintenance on existing systems and programs as well.
Participates in the D & D and test of java and non java based integrations.
Participates in the D & D and test of web services.
Monitors errors in processing and informs users.
Background/Experience
Minimum of 5 years of programming experience in an AS400 environment. Experience in a manufacturing environment a big plus. Must possess:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or the equivalent
Java 1.5 or higher level skills.
3+ years with ETL/Web Services (SOAP or REST), EDI, SQL (MS SQL Server and DB2/400), XML, Schemas, XSL, XSLT,
Application to Application Integration in a large Enterprise.
A high level of analytical and math skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The successful candidate must be a high energy, creative, resourceful and organized IT professional. The ability to multi-task and to manage several projects simultaneously is a must.

Performs professional engineering work to:
• Protect air, land and water resources to provide a clean and healthful environment.
• Eliminate and/or control hazardous conditions resulting from behavioral error, equipment and machine operations which may cause injury.
• Work to maintain compliance in all aspects of Environmental regulations and Safety & Health.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Assist in the ID, analysis and control of occupational safety & health hazards.
• Acts as a consulting resource to operations management to advise & recommend prevention and abatement efforts.
• Work to provide a resource for culture change towards a behavioral based safety environment.
• Performs work to maintain and improve facilities for handling and managing the industrial waste stream.
• Interface with all applicable regulatory agencies to insure up to date compliance and provide guidance and assistance to maintain internal as well as vendor compliance.
• Initiate internal audits of safety and environmental systems and initiate as well as provide advise regarding corrective actions.
Background and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Safety and Environmental Sciences and a minimum of ten years of safety and environmental engineering experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Basic Functions:
The Legal Department Paralegal reports to, and is responsible for implementing instructions of, the General Counsel and Associate General Counsel and maintaining
absolute confidentiality of any information received in this capacity. The Legal Department Paralegal also is responsible for a variety of Legal Department administrative and support tasks, described below.
Skills Required:
Must have formal training as a paralegal and have received a Paralegal Certificate or Degree from an accredited paralegal school. Must have at least 3-5 years experience as a paralegal in a corporate legal department (preferred) or private practice setting. Must have good communication, organization and writing skills; the ability to perform legal research; an in-depth knowledge of legal terminology and principles; and the ability to analyze legal documents for accuracy. Professional phone skills and ability to exercise good judgment are critical. Should be self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure and deadlines. Ability to work and interact with co-workers is key. Knowledge of, or experience with, firearms is a plus, though not required. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Westlaw Research; familiarity with preparation of PowerPoint presentations a plus.
Responsibilities: Within the limits of authorized policies and procedures, the Legal Department Paralegal is responsible for the following duties, among others:
A. Organization and maintenance of Legal Department files and documents including litigation files, patent files, leases and supporting documents, purchasing contracts, marketing contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and general information files.
B. Responding to inquiries and requests in accordance with Legal Department policies and practices including responding to telephone, e-mail and snail mail from customers, inventors, industry contacts, and Company personnel.
C. Preparing first draft non-disclosure agreements and other standard agreements and documents for review by the Associate General Counsel and/or General Counsel.
D. Maintenance of Legal Department reference documents including documents to track legal expenses, trademarks, patents, firearms laws, Company compliance with regulations and laws, training programs, and other matters.
E. Preparing and maintenance of correspondence, documents, reports charts and graphs for insurance purposes, SEC filings, and training presentations by the Legal Department.
F. General legal research and tracking of proposed legislation, with reporting to the General Counsel and Associate General Counsel regarding same.
G. Miscellaneous Legal Department tasks and general support for the Management Team (Corporate Officers) as required.
